Bukoba Municipal Teachers in 2007, decided to have a SACCOS known as Bukoba Municipal Teachers Savings and Credit Co-operative Society Limited (BUMUTE SACCOS Ltd). The main goal being to have their own financial services tool for its members in accordance with the procedures they set for themselves.
BUMUTE SACCOS LTD is operated and guided by the Law of Cooperative Societies No. 6 of 2013, the Law of Minor Feha Services No. 10 of 2018, Cooperative Societies Regulations of 2015, Small Financial Services (SACCOS) Regulations of 2019, Conditions of Association, Policy and General Meeting Orders, Strategic Plan (2021 – 2025) and this Business Plan 2021 - 2023.
